This function is used to switch quickly between <help:link Id="66190">Design</help:link> and User mode. In the Design mode you can define the form layout. If the mode is not active, form controls cannot be edited.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:paragraphinfo state="U" number="5" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/>Please note the <help:link Id="65937" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><span class="T1">Open in Design Mode</span></help:link> function. If this command is activated, the document is always opened in Design mode, regardless of the state in which it is saved. If you do not want the final form to be opened in the Design mode by the user, you can deactivate this command.</p>

<p class="Paragraph"><help:paragraphinfo state="U" number="3" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"/>If your form is linked to a database and you turn off the Design mode, the <help:link Id="65578" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Form Bar</help:link> is displayed at the lower margin of the document window. You can edit the link to the database in the <help:link Id="65948" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Form Properties</help:link>.</p>
